My package is delayed for three days, after passing my home?
I wonder what happened. It should have arrived in about 3 days, and it’s gonna take another three days? And the shipping tracking is…
Roseburg, OR to my town is about 85 miles. Portland, OR to my town is about 222 miles. Roseburg to Portland is about 178 miles. So they shipped the package past Roseburg to Portland – 178 miles – plus back to my town, another 222 miles, or about 400 miles further than it might have taken if they dropped it off in Roseburg and then on to my town.
And I can’t imagine what happened to the package that would delay it another three days. Weather is not bad now. So no weather delays, like we were having a few months ago. One guess is that they destroyed the package and they are paying to have another one shipped to me. I don’t know what happens when a package is destroyed along the way.
Oh well. I hope to get my Java text book soon.
